Possible missing firmware /lib/firmware/nvidia/gp108/gr/fecs_sig.bin for module nouveau

Got this message n-times after an upgrade. What is it, and how to get rid of it ?

Install firmware-misc-nonfree for the Nvidia firmware.

Please pay attention to the full message. This is not an error message, only a warning.
It means that your hardware uses the "nouveau" module (for Nvidia GPUs) which advertises that it may use the mentioned firmware file which is not installed. But it does not mean that your hardware actually needs the mentioned firmware files. You must check into the kernel logs for actual firmware loading failures.
