Empty source list
Empty source list
I have just recently put Debian(lenny) on an eMac, but I can't seem to do any sort of apt-ing. Even when I have some sources, yet they don't seem to work. Could someone give me some advise or at least a list to work with??
Re: Empty source list
If you just installed, your /etc/apt/sources.list probably points to the CD. Try this:
deb ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ stable main contrib
deb-src ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ stable main contrib
deb ftp://security.us.debian.org/debian-security stable/updates main contrib
deb-src ftp://security.debian.org/debian-security stable/updates main contrib
deb http://www.debian-multimedia.org stable main

Re: Empty source list
Did you run aptitude update after changing your sources.list?
