Hi
My laptop screen becomes blank when the power cable is removed or inserted while running on battery. I have to press ctrl, alt & backspace to resolve the issue. Can some please explain why this is happening and how I can solve this issue. I am sure I have done something silly while playing around with debian
Kindest Regards
John

Does it happen everytime or randomly?
It might be hardware related.
If everything is fine in you're power options....try maybe running a live OS off of you're CD or DVD media (or install another OS) and see if the problem persists if so its more than likely you're laptop hardware that has the problem.
