getting information about my system

Hello Everyone

I just installed debian and I need to know where I can find information about my current installation is it x32 or x64. I an sure that my current hardware is x64 but I'd like to know the current OS type.

uname -a
If it shows either 386 or 686 it is 32bit otherwise it will show amd64. Or you can get inxi from the #smxi irc channel on and see all kinds of nifty info.
