/sys/class/net/bond0/speed: Invalid argument

#1 Post by vercetty92 »

Hi Folks,

I just discover that in my debian 7, I can't get the speed of the bond0 interface by issuing:

Code: Select all

cat /sys/class/net/bond0/speed
as I get this error : Invalid argument (and same for any other bond interface)

I know this is working on another systems like centos/redhat, maybe it's specific to debian?

The OS is nto virtualized, it's installed on bare metal (dell server)

If someone have a clue to explain this^^

thx a lot in advance
