HELP!!!!! Cant mount my ntfs sata hard drive

#1 Post by Morgoth »

I am running the latest version of Debian on an IDE hard disk. I am trying to mount my ntfs sata hard drive, but it doesn't seem to work.

I have tried typing in mount ntfs /dev/hdd2 /mnt/windows after creating the windows directory but this doesnt work.

You probably don't have the ntfs module loaded. Try
modprobe ntfs
If it still doesn't work, please write what command you given exactly, and what the system answered.
