I'm looking for a good ftp server.
Can somebody recomment me one?

I don't know much about ftp servers, so please let it be simple to configurate.

try out proFTP.
it's quite easy to configure (good documentation) and very flexible.

One good feature in proftpd is that you can easily lock users in their home directory. Nice feature when users dont have shell account. Its like chroot, they dont see any other files than their own. 8)
