Wheezy backports

#1 Post by bmatz »

Im trying to install squid3 (3.4.8-5~bpo70+1). This requires adding the backports repository to Debian wheezy, Ive added many different repositories on past Debian installations without much issue but adding backports on Wheezy isn't working for some reason.
Im adding this to sources.list:
deb http://http.debian.net/debian wheezy-backports main
Then running an apt-get update and end up with the lines below:
Ign http://http.debian wheezy-backports Release
E: GPG error: http://http.debian wheezy-backports Release: The following signatures were invalid: NODATA 1 NODATA 2
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks!

Try this line instead:

Code: Select all

deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian wheezy-backports main
https://wiki.debian.org/Backports
deadbang

Thanks for the reply and the suggestion, same output from that ftp line as from the http line.

Ign http://ftp.debian.org wheezy-backports Release
E: GPG error: http://ftp.debian.org wheezy-backports Release: The following signatures were invalid: NODATA 1 NODATA 2

You could post the contents of your sources.list.

Do you have anything in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ ?

Are you running a firewall?

Have you tried downloading and installing the squid3 .deb?

800mhz, 512mb ram, dCore-jessie (Tiny Core with Debian Jessie packages) with BusyBox and Fluxbox.
Most don't have computer access, reuse or pay forward an old computer.
