When I installed KDE and Gnome in Etch for historical purpose I got this:
" mismatch
W: Failed to fetch http://archive.debian.org/debian/pool/m ... _amd64.deb
Size".
I solved it when I downloaded the package direct from http://archive.debian.org and used gdebi to install it.
