running Whonix GNU/Linux 8.7 (jessie)
When I run "freetalk" in terminal it ask for my jabber ID and password. It then connects to the internet and authorizes the account. My original account would return a "hangup" error after 30 seconds. I tried restarting and changing the password but nothing worked. Only thing I could think of was making a new jabber account. With the new one it still connects but stays at "Authorizing..." forever. I'm completely stumped. Fairly new to linux and took me hours to get this thing installed and I'm so close. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

User jabber alone is not completely secure. Plugins like freetalk help that to make sure your jabber conversations are safe and secure. https://otr.cypherpunks.ca/bw123 wrote:I'm new to this kind of topic, sorry to be saying " what is it?"
