Hi all!
I'm having trouble with the monitor power saving.
I've seen that gnome-power-manager is now integrated in the gnome-control-center, in wich i can select the "energy" icon.
In the "energy" panel there is "power saving" -> "black screen" and i have selected two minutes, but it nevers go in function.
How can i make it work?
Thank you!

Re: gnome-power-manager in Stretch
Is this a vanilla install of Stretch? You haven't changed or added anything? Any messages at boot especially re video drivers? Some system details perhaps?
Re: gnome-power-manager in Stretch
Vanilla? Do you mean a fresh install? No it is an upgrade from Lenny.
I also switched from XFCE to Gnome, and i think the problem might be here.
The system runs at 64bit on an Intel 2600k also onto it's internal video card. I have no idea of what can be useful to know, but i can check if asked!

Re: gnome-power-manager in Stretch
Jessie, surely? Lenny was almost a decade ago, I think.
XFCE and Gnome is what vanilla isn't, ie ordinary, and I think you may be right.
If I am not mistaken, XFCE comes with LightDM and Gnome Power needs GDM- you may need to install that.
