I just switched from Jessie to Stretch on two systems. On both I encountered the odd problem that the WLAN hotspots are shown in the list and that I can't connect with them because the login doesn't get accepted even if I know its correct because it worked before and does still on other machines.
To test what is wrong I disabled the password encryption of my WLAN hotspot and now connecting works fine on both newly set up Stretch systems. Is there a known issue with WPA2 Personal?
Scheduled Maintenance: We are aware of an issue with Google, AOL, and Yahoo services as email providers which are blocking new registrations. We are trying to fix the issue and we have several internal and external support tickets in process to resolve the issue. Please see: viewtopic.php?t=158230

Re: WLAN password problem
You could search in the bug tracker to be sure. My three Stretch systems all use wpa2 and have no such problems. You might also want to check the logs after a failed attempt. What DE are you using?
