Re: Cna't installed debian 8 python-certbot-apache
Your terminal output states:
$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list
please.
Try doing it with aptitude.
So post sources.listSome packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list
please.
Try doing it with aptitude.
DebianStable
Code: Select all
$ vrms
No non-free or contrib packages installed on debian! rms would be proud.

Re: Cna't installed debian 8 python-certbot-apache
Your sources.list is fine but all that is needed is to add the jessie-backports repository.
See wiki.debian.org/Backports, update and then use aptitude, not apt, to install the package.

Re: Can't installed debian 8 python-certbot-apache
Because this time you didn't add
-t jessie-backports
The dependent packages must come from jessie-backports too.
aptitude -t jessie-backports install python-certbot-apache
-t jessie-backports

Re: Can't installed debian 8 python-certbot-apache
That's good. Solved. I had the same issue some time back. The mirror was OK. The key was to use aptitude, not apt.
