AH02980: Watchdog: nothing configured?

Postby hstoellinger » 2017-08-24 14:47

Hello,
I run Debian 9 (Stretch) with Apache 2.4, Mysql, PHP, etc., etc.. At the moment I keep getting messages such as the one mentioned in the subject. I don't know how to fix this. It may be an Apache2 question, but maybe somebody has an idea? Where and what do I have to configure watchdog?
Thanks for any hints!

I'm also having this problem. So far I have done the following:

(1) sudo apt-get install watchdog

(2) sudo service watchdog start

(3) sudo service apache2 restart

That didn't resolve it so...

(4) Then I went to /etc/watchdog.conf and uncommented the configuration settings and repeated the restart commands

Now I'm stuck. If anyone has any further ideas, please let me know.

service watchdog status

gives the results:

● watchdog.service - watchdog daemon
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/watchdog.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: active (running) since Tue 2017-10-24 15:10:53 SAST; 1h 5min ago
