[SOLVED]No WiFi for Atheros using Network Manager on Stretch

#1 Post by joesmoe10 »

No WiFi options appear in Network Manager. When installing from the debian ISO, WiFi worked. After installing and logging in, I can only connect with a wired interface, no wireless options appear in the Network manager settings.

Here's debug info from running the UbuntuForums wireless-info script as root.

The wireless hardware is a PCI 02:00.0 Network controller: Qualcomm Atheros AR93xx Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01).

Code: Select all

Yes, just rebooted again for good measure. No luck.

I have a suspicion it's caused by acpi=off in my GRUB boot params. Without acpi=off, debian wouldn't boot.
