DEB 8 - DNS CAA not accepted

#1 Post by ksu »

Hello,

everywhere I go, the 9.11.1 version of named should support CAA records, but logs show something else:

15-Mar-2018 14:22:11.028 pri/somedomain.com.zone:14: unknown RR type 'CAA'

zone conf includes:

Code: Select all

somedomain.com. IN CAA 0 issue "letsencrypt.org"
BIND 9.11.1 <id:e3dc2e7>
Linux x86_64 3.16.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.16.51-2 (2017-12-03)

Or is it me that can't properly read man pages?

Thanks guys!
