debian 7 doesn't recognize broadcom MEGARAID SAS 9361-16i

Postby ermomar » 2018-04-13 07:57

Hi,

I've just installed a broadcom MEGARAID SAS 9361-16i (to replace a faulty areca card), on a working Debian 7. From the bios card everything seems ok, I've created the logical volume and so on. but from linux it seems not recognize the controller.

this is the outoput of storcli64
Code: Select all
root@espoccrlms0001:~# /opt/MegaRAID/storcli/storcli64 show all
CLI Version = 007.0504.0000.0000 Nov 22, 2017
Operating system = Linux 3.2.0-5-amd64
Status Code = 0
Status = Success
Description = None

Number of Controllers = 0
Host Name = espoccrlms0001
Operating System  = Linux 3.2.0-5-amd64
StoreLib IT Version = 07.0504.0200.0000
StoreLib IR3 Version = 15.06-0

of course there isn't a new device when I make a fdisk -l

from lspci it seems to see the card altough

Code: Select all
root@espoccrlms0001:~# lspci | grep LSI
0b:00.0 RAID bus controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID SAS-3 3316 [Intruder] (rev 01)

could you help me??

best regards
