Power Settings, can the Timeout be set to one-hour?

#1 Post by SteveMann »

I just installed Debian 9 from the DVD set from debian.org. The install went quite well, but....
In the Power Settings, the screen timeout only goes to 15-minutes. Short times are fine for an office environment where there could be several users, but in a home system it approaches overkill. Is there any way to increase it to 60 or 120 minutes? "Never" is not a good option because I do want the screen to go off sometime.

Go to Settings and select privacy and from the drop down select your time choice :)
