Missing wifi connection after installing and booting Debian

#1 Post by wanderer_r »

Operating System: Debian 9.4
Architecture: amd64
Chip-set: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter

I'm unable to connect to the internet after installing and booting Debian 9.4 (amd64 architecture). My internal wireless adapter is a Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter. Are there any drivers that support my current wireless chip-set on Debian 9.4? If «no», are there any hacks that would allow for internet connection on my system from my internal wireless adapter? (Please, outline instructions, if any, thoroughly, succinctly, and in good grammar. Don't expect me, a newcomer, to intuit any technical jargon which you may or may not employ). Thank you in advance.

P.S. I have followed the instructions from https://github.com/ajaybhatia/Qualcomm- ... Wifi-Linux, namely:

Code: Select all

chmod +x install.sh
./install.sh
without success.
