Problem setting up printer, Canon LBP 3010

#1 Post by funkytwig »

I think I have CUPS set up properly. When I go to the Printers tab in CUPS (after printing a simple webpage) ) I get

Canon_LBP3010_LBP3018_LBP3050 Canon LBP3010/LBP3018/LBP3050 Canon BJC-3000 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.11 Processing - "Printing page 1, 8%"

It just stays like this

lpstat gives me

en@ep-dev:~$ lpstat -p -d
printer Canon_LBP3010_LBP3018_LBP3050 now printing Canon_LBP3010_LBP3018_LBP3050-2. enabled since Thu 17 May 2018 17:45:20 BST
Printing page 1, 8%
no system default destination

Not sure if 'no system default destination' is a problem?

also

ben@ep-dev:~$ uname -a
Linux ep-dev 4.9.0-6-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.88-1 (2018-04-29) x86_64 GNU/Linux

Any ideas?

Regards,
Ben
