Postby grubboty » 2018-05-27 02:46

Ive tried installing it and booting from uefi only and legacy only too, but I always get the same screen that says boot menu and lists my ssd and PCI LAN, not letting me access my ssd

Have you tried entering the BIOS and removing PCI LAN from your boot order?

Give us some details! Start with vital statistics on your hardware, list the exact steps you took to install the OS, and a screenshot. Then maybe someone might be able to help you out.

If your BIOS setup has any options for RAID disks, disable those and use AHCI instead.
The MX Linux repositories: Backports galore! If we don't have something, just ask and we'll try--we like challenges. New packages: GIMP 2.10.2, Pale Moon 27.9.3, wine-staging 3.10, QuiteRSS 0.18.11, Linux kernel 4.17, Krita 4.0.4

Yes, more information is required.
Do you mean you are trying to boot the installer (from what ?) to install Debian on the SSD, or you installed Debian on the SSD and are trying to boot it ?
What do you mean exactly by "not letting me access my ssd" ?
