I have recently installed Debian 9.4 Xfce on my laptop. The problem I am facing with Debian Stretch 9.4 is it fails to switch mode of the usb 3g modem - in both live Gnome & and full installed Xfce.
I have tried to install 'usb modem switch' from synaptic package manager, several times over wifi network, though there is an entry of this deb package (usb modem switch) in synaptic package manager, but it fails to do so.
Can you please tell me how to install 'usb modem switch' deb package in Debian Xfce 9.4?
