howto? thin terminal to remote gnome, kde, xfce etc..?

#1 Post by hanasaki »

What needs to be installed and configured (configured how) on a remote box so that a remote machine can bring up its login screen and login? Ideally:
- able to disconnect and reconnect to the same server session for the user
- choose from kde, xfce, gnome, .. maybe others (gnome and xfce are the primary target for now)
- tunnel over httpS to deal with 1. encryption and 2. firewall traversal using an http proxy.

Thanks,

Thanks,
so you are asking us to look up all these things for you and give you a complete, personal, step-by-step walkthrough?
without providing any detail about your setup?
