How to enable a second screen with nvidia graphics board

#1 Post by ghellereiii »

I installed debian and my second monitor don't work, its is a nvidia display, only the motherboard video is working.

my xrand result:

Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1366 x 768, maximum 8192 x 8192
DP-1 connected primary 1366x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 410mm x 230mm
1366x768 59.79*+
1024x768 75.03 60.00
832x624 74.55
800x600 75.00 60.32 56.25
640x480 75.00 59.94
720x400 70.08

running lspci | grep -i vga :

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Device 5902 (rev 04)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GP107 [GeForce GTX 1050 Ti] (rev a1)

Why Nvidia vga dont appears on xrand?
