[NOT AN ISSUE] dovecot - weird issue

Postby Roken » 2019-09-19 18:34

I have two domain names, with MX records both pointing to my dovecot mail server running on a remote vps. One of the domains, no problem, works just fine. Lately, the other when connecting from TB (local to me, remote from the server) gives me a "failed to connect to domain" error.

It's been some years since I set this server up, and I'm stumped where to look. I've verified the MX records are correct.

Are you using TLS/SSL?
Not a certificate problem?

Using STARTTLS, and no, there are no certificate problems.

Doh! The domain name has expired, literally the day after I checked that the MX records were all correct, by the looks of it.

Sorry to be a pain.
