Numlock no longer enabled at boot after updates.

#1 Post by peer »

system: debian testing KDE
After yesterday's updates numlock is no longer enabled after boot.
The cooresponding setting in settings - input devices - keyboard shows: "Turn on" Numlock on plasma boot is correct.

But numlock is not enabled.
With the search function I could find similar problems in gnome and xfce but not kde.
numlockx is not installed
How can I solve this problem in kde?

I did not solve the problem but I installed numlockx as a workaround and it is working again. I changed the setting in plasma to "Leave unchanged".

Yeah - I don't run Plasma5 any more but this has been an issue since day one for me. I fixed it the same way you did :)
we see things not as they are, but as we are.
