Debian 10: undetected optical drive: Asus BC-12D2HT

Hello,
I've installed a SATA DVD reader, "Asus BC-12D2HT", but I don't figure out why it is not detected under Debian 10.
For example:

$ inxi -Fxzd
Drives:    Message: No Optical or Floppy data was found.


My computer has a dual boot, and the optical drive works properly under Windows.
Is there something more I have to install?

What does lspci say?

It unexpectedly works today‽

The only possibly related thing I've done is following installation, but it hasn't working after that, and then I post on this forum.
