Windows share fails

Postby guthrie » 2020-04-09 18:28

i have a share to a local windows machine which I use for backup;
It has always worked, but now after some time of non-use and an update of the system, it fails.

Any hints?

Code: Select all
root@alpha:/home/guthrie# sh -v csMount
mount -t cifs //csBackup.mum.edu/Net /net/csBackup \
               -o username=linuxbackup,password=secret,workgroup=cs.mum.edu

mount error(5): Input/output error
Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)
