[solved]Debian on Asus TUF FX705DY_FX705DY wlan and faustus

Hi bought an Asus TUF Gaming FX705DY_FX705DY for Debian only use.

I did not get buster witch the Xserver to run on this notebook.

So I used:
Debian GNU/Linux bullseye-DI-alpha2 "Bullseye" - Unofficial amd64
NETINST with firmware 20200315-11:07
The insallation worked with ethernet and dhcp so
After Installation it stoped with out the X server.
pressed alt + F3
loged in with the user than

sudo apt install linux-image-amd64 firmware-linux firmware-linux-free firmware-linux-nonfree firmware-misc-nonfree
sudo shutdown -h now

X server is working now.
sound too.
But no wlan.

gives nothing back.
To find the wlan chip I tried:

Enter "RTL8821CE debian" into your favourite search engine. You should done that before opening a thread here: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=47078

And you can probably get your machine working with the stable release by installing the kernel & AMD firmware from the buster-backports repository: https://backports.debian.org/Instructions/

no idea was I realy have done with this, but after restart wlan is just fine.
Now I try to get the keyboard backlight on.

Perhaps faustus run better with buster and the backports.

You could install inxi and give us the result of "inxi -Fxxz" so we have some idea of what's in your machine.

Hmmm--Debian hasn't backported hw-probe for Buster, though it's fairly trivial. That is orders of magnitude more thorough that even inxi.

I swiched back to buster
after installation
ctrl + alt + f3

X is running.
So Head_on_a_Stick is right with that.
so I tryed

but it did not work with my wlan chip so again

My Faustus problem:
I hit back to faustushttps://github.com/hackbnw/faustus
to get the fan controll run and the keybard backlight
downloaded it and unpacked it in a local folder.

To get the fan control and the keybord backlight control simply follow the instruction:

the permanent intallation is finished with
