gnome-keyring still locked after login

Recently re-installed desktop. Scheduled back-up with Déjà Dup. Whether scheduled or manual, when Déjà Dup starts, I'm prompted with what I suppose is gnome-keyring's :

Unlock Keyring
Enter password to unlock
An application wants access to the keyring "Default keyring" but it is locked
(*) Automatically unlock this keyring whenever I'm logged in

Note that the last line is checked. Upon entering the password, everything goes fine. As far as I can tell, the gnome-keyring daemon is running happily. I don't think that I have any other software that relies on gnome-keyring.

What shall I do ?

Have you enabled automatic login by any chance?

I inadvertantly stumbled upon the solution :

Settings/Session and Startup/Advanced/Compatibility/(*) Launch GNOME services on startup

If you'd told us you were using XFCE, somebody could have told you the answer straight away.
