#1 Post by guest »

Hi,

II have install and reinstall Sarge using the new installer beta4 and candidate 1, but always have the following problem. When I boot everything work fine but after a while my network conecction stopped to work. In order to continue to work I have to reboot again. Also I have this problem when I change user, after logout and login. My NIC card is Linksys and the driver is tulip. I do not have problem with windows or Slackware.
Because this situations I am thinking to gvie up Debian. Althoug I loved it

I have installed Sarge linux26.
Thanks

Does the logs contain any interesting?
Also, check what processes are running, because it may be possible that there is some daemon which reconfigures your NIC silently (DHCP client is such an animal, for example).
