Dial out problem.

Hi All,
Very much a newbie but determined to get there!!
My problem is that if I log in as root I can dial out no problem, but logged in as user I get the message "KDEinit could not launch kppp. Could not find 'kppp' executable"
I have run 'adduser ***** dialout and am a member of the dial out group.
Any ideas?

Open a terminal and become root. Type pppconfig. This will help you set up a dialup connection, or more than one if you need to. Go through all the steps, add yourself as a user. Once you've set it up, you can connect to your isp by opening a terminal and typing pon (connection name) where connection name is whatever you have called your dialup connecton in pppconfig. (Leave out the parentheses.) To disconnect just type poff. I've always had trouble with kppp, and pppconfig is very easy to use.
