White background with Nautilus managing the desktop on Sid

Hello,

Just to let everyone know (all running on Sid will eventually get to this bug): upgrading libgtk to version 3.10 will make nautilus draw white background if you set the "have file manager handle the desktop" in the tweak tool. The bug has already been created at https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugrepo ... bug=726562 but not resolved yet. The only solution is to downgrade the libgtk-3 packages to version 3.8.

Only if they have nautilus installed, and managing their desktop, and upgrade or install it without reading apt-listbugs before it is fixed.

thank you, that's what I was looking for.

But the strange thing is in my 2° user the background image is still shown.

For some reasons, if in tweak tool I set "make nautilus handle desktop" to OFF, background come back and icons are still displayed. Probably gnome 3.10 has icons as default.

I myself have switched to nemo and symlinked it as nautilus.

Same bug on Desktop& Laptop (Gnome testing shell+classic)

Same issue with gnome-shell 3.12.

The hardware is Intel Atom N270 with GMA945 Express.
