How....where should I counfigure which media player I want to be default....Now is totem but I would like to change....
Which MediaPlayers do You use...?
Which codecs are the most complite so I wont have many problems....avi,wma,mms...
How do You uninstall packages(so It goes all of the hard disk....????)

Open nautilus right-click on file you want to open and choose "Properties" then select the "Open With" tab and choose the default you want to open the file type with.
VLC is the easiest to set up for DVDsWhich MediaPlayers do You use...?
As root from the commandline:

#apt-get remove nameofprogram
or start up synaptic and find the packages that you want to remove.
