Hi
I have a Debian server which creates PDF thanks to wkhtmltopdf, and I would like to write with urdu font in this PDF.
There are few packages that can handle installation of these fonts (fonts-nafees, fonts-paktype, ...), but I have characters that can't be displayed.
I tried to install manually other .ttf files (in /usr/local/share/fonts) (http://www.urdujahan.com/font.html) : no more results, still the same missing characters.
The missing characters are :
- ہ
- ے
If somebody knows why I can't display these characters, and how to fix that...
Thank you

Urdu font on debian : missing characters
Re: Urdu font on debian : missing characters
I've found solution :
I had to uninstall fonts-dejavu, fonts-dejavu-core, fonts-dejavu-extra.
Then, fonts-droid has good encoding for urdu.
