Cinnamon input laguage change on UP key event

#1 Post by dzmitry »

Hello!
I have intellij Idea installed on my Debian jessie with Cinnamon. It has shortcut ALT+SHIFT+F10. But input language change shortcut is ALT+SHIFT, so when i try to use intellij shortcut it works, but also changes language. At the other hand on my work computer under WIN10 language doesn't changes. I think it because in WIN language switching is performed after I release the keys, and on Debian - when keys are pressed. So how should I set language change shortcut on keyUp event? Again, my goal is to use intellij ALT+SHIFT+F10 shortcut along with language (assigned on ALT+SHIFT)not be switched.
Regards!

easiest solution: check BOTH applications - maybe one of them can be changed top use a different shortcut altogether.

It's good backup solution, but I'm so lazy I don't want to remember different shortcuts on different computers
