I can't find xfce4-mixer for Stretch. Can any one tell me where to look?

xfce4-mixer has been removed. See https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/xfce4-mixer

For a replacement panel plugin, try xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin

Thanks, but that's what I'm trying to get away from.

I have XFCE4-mixer (4.10.0-3+b1) in one stretch install. Might there be a way of moving it over?

Can I use the package from Xbuntu or Jessie?

EDIT: I have found dkpg-repack. I think I have a 64bit stretch install. I am going to give that a try.
EDIT: No joy. The 64 bit Stretch install doesn't have the XFCE4-mixer in the repository.
I wonder why my 32bit install has it, but not the 64?

I also have xfce4-mixer (4.10.0-3+b1) left over in two of my stretch systems. If you are lucky, you might be able to get it working by downloading it from http://snapshot.debian.org/binary/xfce4-mixer/

You will also have to install those gstreamer0.10 stuff which are also removed in stretch. They are probably libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 (>= 0.10.18), libgstreamer0.10-0 (>= 0.10.0) and gstreamer0.10-alsa

Xfce4-mixer was removed during my Jessie to Stretch upgrade too, and came across this thread while trying to find a way to get the mixer back. I've install pnmixer, looks good so far and behaves similarly to xfce4-mixer.
