I'm running Debian testing with Cinnamon. And it's my favourite ever!
But yesterday, after doing my upgrades, Cinnamon is not what it used to be:
Wallpaper is gone.
All theming is gone, icons and colours. All windows seem to have the appearence of some stock XFCE or very simple Gnome.
My shortcuts are not working, or rather 2/3 of them are not working. Some still do (which I find even stranger).
My power management won't even open.
Finally, and this is where I think the clue is, when trying to connect to my external monitor or change resolution or any screen settings, I get the message:
Does anyone recognize this or know what's happened?GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.cinnamon.SettingsDaemon was not provided by any .service files
And would anyone know how to fix it?
