Full screen hangs while watching video in a HD partition

Hi, I have a problem watching videos or playing media that is on a HD partition. This problem isn't instantaneous, occurs after a few hours of operation.
The system hangs and only Caps Lock works. What I have to do is turn it off.

Some lines I understand, some do not.
