Re: problem w/ system font and bootstrap studio
Since you have bought it, why not ask the people who sold it to you?
Re: problem w/ system font and bootstrap studio
i understand you point of view but the failure doesn't come from the software but from the system, I tested on a live debian and all is goodarochester wrote:Since you have bought it, why not ask the people who sold it to you?

did you log out/in?
maybe even reboot (fontconfig works in mysterious ways).

Re: problem w/ system font and bootstrap studio
Standard troubleshooting:
Create a new user and see if has the same issue for that account.
Try starting the app from a terminal and see if any germane errors pop up.

Re: problem w/ system font and bootstrap studio
That would seem to indicate that your problem is PEBKAC in nature.grhim wrote:I tested on a live debian and all is good
What is this mysterious "bootstrap studio" and how _exactly_ did you install it?

i installed bootstrap with a deb , the program installed itself in /opt folder , and i tried w/ no install [tar.gz] and it's the same ....
so i tried to understand if it was a font's problem with Gbd but no trace of font's problem
Code: Select all
(gdb) run
Starting program: /opt/bootstrapstudio/Bootstrap Studio
