I lost sound after last dist-upgrade.
It si a desktop computer with an amd64 CPU and KDE.
Scheduled Maintenance: We are aware of an issue with Google, AOL, and Yahoo services as email providers which are blocking new registrations. We are trying to fix the issue and we have several internal and external support tickets in process to resolve the issue. Please see: viewtopic.php?t=158230

Distro? If it's Debian, which version?
Any errors when you try an upgrade?
Why did you use dist-upgrade? Was it upgrade from previous Debian version?
As you can see, lots of questions with no answer. Provide as much detail as you can when posting a problem.

There was another post with the same issue recently (yesterday?). Something about snd_hda_intel not being loaded. Reloading it fixed the problem.
