HDMI output not connected

#1 Post by orsolyaaa »

Hi everyone.

I'm trying to use an external monitor on an Asus Zenbook 3. According to xrandr the monitor isn't connected. I have tried turning off and on with the HDMI cable plugged in. Does anyone know what the problem could be and where should I look for help? The monitor says "No-signal". The cable and the monitor work perfectly with other machines.

Either the hardware is faulty or you are using fallback video driver.
