Resolution in applications

Hello,

I have a laptop PC HD.
Debian OS + Lxde

The session starts well in HD but when launching an application (Firefox or Chromium) I have a resolution of 1280x768.

how to configure LXDE to have the browsers in maximum resolution.

you mean the resolution is fine (what is the full resolution?), but when you start a browser it drops to 1280x768?
that is indeed baffling.
can you provide some troubleshooting information?

Hi debiman.

My resolution is 1920*1080 in desktop.

But when i start a application (Chromium or firefox) the browser résolution if 1280x720.

You appear to be using Intel Skylake 520 integrated graphics, as well as the discrete AMD Topaz card.

Do you have firmware-misc-nonfree installed?

If you install inxi and then run "inxi -G",

what does it report about your graphics situation?

the lspci output shows that neither GPU is running a dedicated driver.
that can't be right.
but since i know nothing of dual graphics first hand, i will have to pass the staff on.

Skylake 520 graphics will not work correctly without firmware-misc-nonfree installed, so that's my very first guess. I have a Skylake 520 Optimus laptop myself, so know what happens without the firmware.
