my hardware is : audigy 2 + creative 5.1 speakers
my xmms plays ok with the alsa output but i have a prob
when i play something with xmms 3 speakers are dead --> so basically i have 2 speakers playing + boofer
maybe it's the mp3 that it's not ac3 and xmms is using only 2 speakers or something
so i have this dvd that has an ac3 test (= only 1 speakers plays at time and the video shows you which one should play)i played that dvd under windows and indeed the speaker shown in the movie played in reality, but it doesn't work under linux (with VLC)
i have no idea what to do
