Debian Stretch 9.5, xfce
I have notebook, screen size 10",1024 x 600.
Problem in Gnumeric is, when I try to add graph, the graph settings window is too high. I can only select graph type, all the other options are not visible. There are no scrolling bars on the settings window, I can't see Apply button, so adding graph is impossible.
I've set the xfce bar to hide automatically, but that does not help much in this case.
Otherwise Gnumeric runs fine on this low resource notebook.

Try Alt+LMB (left mouse button) drag to move the oversized window and revel the buttons
