Unable to run Unison on logoff

#1 Post by slavus1 »

I'm trying to sync user data on logoff but I have been unable to find the correct placement of the command "unison -auto -batch -silent $USER" . This works correctly on log in but I have yet to find the correct placement for logoff.
Debian 9 -> Gnome

I'm guessing it would depend on how you logoff, and on gnome that would be gdm? or is it gdm3 now?
Probably no $USER left after logoff, so you'll have to catch it before.
What method do you use to run it at login?

Did you do some searches on internets? maybe... run script gnome logoff
