Hi all,
Decided to give Buster a try so after a clean install OS seemed fine. However after installing Synaptic found that if Wayland is enabled in Gnome the app won't work. So logged out logged in with default Gnome now app works fine.
Is this a known issue?
Anyway despite that Debian still rocks
Thanks

Yes it is a known issue and you should have gotten an error saying "Synaptic doesn't work on Wayland, please log in as Xorg" or something like that.

Hi,
To change GUI logout using power button you will see your login name, click on this and you will logout.
When login window appears put in your password then click cogwheel below this and you have various GUI to choose from including Gnome default etc
Hope this helps.
