voice cloning development

#1 Post by brcisna »

Hello All,

this is certainly not Debian specific, but as we use Debian thought it would be worth asking in this forum.
Are there any voice cloning software packages in the works for Debian or Linux in general. Something very much like Lyrebird.
Seen there is an antiquated source package, but has stopped development as the way i seen it the dev went to work for an AI startup company?

Thank You

Hi Arochester

I did try getting this package to work,,a few weeks ago,,spent much time, but simply could not get it to work,,in our setup of Debian Bullseye.
It was a marathon getting dependencies pulled down,,etc.
in the end it would not function
It does look like it is a great concept,,for sure.
Would be interested if someone got this package to install and work.

Thanks
