remote connect to debian 10 advice
Re: remote connect to debian 10 advice
I'm not familiar with Remmina but I'm guessing it is a GUI to setup a remote X-windows. Depending on your needs, it may be overkill. I use openssh/sftp as a simple way to access/file transfer between devices on my home network.
Web search also come up with detailed instructions on running remote X-windows:
https://unix.stackexchange.com/question ... s-remotely
If it absolutely has to be Remmina, I'll bow out and let someone familiar w/ Remmina step in.

Re: remote connect to debian 10 advice
Thank you for the post.
I really don't care what GUI is used just as long as I can connect to the desktop from anther desktop.
And
I don't want to use RDP
Thank again.

Simpler to use x11vnc:
https://packages.debian.org/buster/x11vnc
Information here will give you what you need, even though it is a little dated:

And if for some reason you have to deal with wayland, though you shouldn't with XFCE:
