#1 Post by Nimda »

Hi All

I got a Strange problem with the bash shell.

When I run

Code: Select all

startx
The GUI starts fine and all packages run with out problem. Except the shells

I left click get the menu up and go Debian>>Apps>>Shells>>Bash

Nothing at all opens up

Any ideas as this is driving me mad haveing to drop out of the GUI to do any comand line tools.

Thanks in advance

Do you have xterm installed?
What happens when you do:
$ apt-cache policy xterm
